Built for Victoria's housing stock.
Victoria isn't generic suburbia, and heat pump design here shouldn't be either. Character homes in Fairfield, James Bay and Oak Bay often have no ductwork, knob-and-tube remnants, and 60–100A panels — we plan the electrical upgrade (rebated up to $5,000 on qualifying conversions) into the same project. Westshore builds in Langford and Colwood usually take multi-zone ductless beautifully. Condos and townhomes downtown and in Vic West need strata-savvy installs — sound specs, placement drawings and approvals we prepare for you (see the condo guide).
Every install starts with a CSA F280-12 heat-load calculation — required by BC's rebate programs and the reason our systems don't short-cycle, underheat, or drone outside your neighbour's window. Every quoted Tosot and Fujitsu combination is verified on the official qualified-product list before it reaches your quote, so the rebate math you see is rebate math that survives.
What's included in every Purple Turtle install
- Measured heat-load calculation (CSA F280-12) and right-sized equipment selection
- Composite pads, proper risers and tidy lineset covering as standard — installs that look as good as they perform
- Electrical by our own licensed electricians — panel, circuits, disconnects, one inspection
- Rebate screening, program guidance, and the rebate deducted from your invoice up front (income-qualified path)
- Commissioning, airflow setup, and a walkthrough so you actually know how to run it
