Local knowledge, island standards.
Mill Bay is where the Cowichan Valley meets the commute, and its housing shows it: newer family subdivisions off Deloume and Frayne, established homes above the bay, and acreage toward Bamberton. Most newer builds take multi-zone ductless cleanly; the older stock often pairs a heat pump with the panel work our in-house electricians handle in the same visit (rebated up to $5,000 on qualifying conversions).
Because you're fifteen minutes from our Duncan shop, you get true local economics — no travel premiums, same-day repair response, and crews who already know which streets get the afternoon sun that drives cooling loads on the view slopes.
Rebates apply in full: $4,000 any-income for electric homes, income-tested conversions to $16,000 (including the new Level 3 for middle-income gas households), plus HRV and water-heater add-ons. CVRD areas like Mill Bay don't currently have a municipal top-up — we'll tell you straight, and tell you if that changes.
