Our Duncan shop sits on the North Cowichan boundary, which makes this our fastest-response territory: same-day repair calls are normal, and install crews don't burn your morning on the highway. It also means your install joins the neighbourhood portfolio we're judged by daily — we shop at the same grocery stores you do.
The District pays the valley's best municipal top-ups: $350 for fossil-to-heat-pump conversions, $500 for electrical service upgrades and $350 for heat pump water heaters — stacked on provincial rebates up to $16,000. Crofton's older mill-era homes (lots of oil) and Maple Bay's waterfront (coastal-spec equipment) each get their own playbook.
Oil-heated homes are the big winners here: $10,000–$16,000 income-qualified, with the tank removal handled and documented by us as the program requires.
