Indoor air quality in Victoria — breathe easier, year-round.

Tighter, better-insulated homes need fresh air by design. We install heat-recovery ventilators (HRVs), upgraded filtration and humidity control that keep island homes healthy without throwing away your heating.

An HRV continuously swaps stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air while recovering the heat from the air it exhausts — so you get fresh air without the energy penalty. It's the single biggest upgrade for homes dealing with condensation, stuffiness, allergies or lingering odours.

We also fit high-efficiency media filters and air purifiers to your heat pump or furnace, and add humidity control where island damp or winter dryness is a problem. Adding it during a heat pump install is the most cost-effective time — but we retrofit too.

"Absolutely great experience from the initial quote until happily handing over the cheque. Had a 3-ton, 4-head ductless system put in — a very clean finish, better laid out than I expected. The owner was involved in every step."

"Very upfront, knowledgeable, free quote. Excellent staff and customer service from start to finish. I had a complete switch from a propane furnace to a heat pump system and couldn't be happier."

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does an HRV do?

A heat-recovery ventilator brings in fresh outdoor air and exhausts stale indoor air while recovering most of the heat, improving air quality without wasting energy.

Do I need an HRV on Vancouver Island?

Many modern, well-sealed island homes benefit from one — especially if you notice window condensation, stuffiness or humidity. We assess your home and advise honestly.

Can you add air quality upgrades to my heat pump?

Yes — filtration, purification and HRV integration are most cost-effective during a heat pump install, but we also retrofit existing systems.
