What a heat pump costs in Nanaimo.

Single-zone ductless

$5,500 to $9,000 installed. One room or an open-plan main floor. Income-qualified rebate up to $5,500 (gas) or $7,000 (oil).

Multi-zone ductless

$12,000 to $18,000. Whole-home comfort with no ductwork. Two heads earn up to $11,000, three or more up to $13,000 at Level 1.

Central ducted

$14,000 to $20,000 and up, using your existing ducts. Up to $13,000 back at Level 1.

Electrical upgrade

$2,500 to $6,000 when an older panel needs it, rebated up to $5,000 on qualifying income-tested conversions.
