Esquimalt's 1940s–60s housing stock is some of the best heat-pump territory in Greater Victoria: compact, electrically heated homes where the any-income $4,000 whole-home rebate applies and where a right-sized ductless system transforms both winter bills and summer comfort.
Lots are tight here, so sound and placement drive our designs: low-dBA outdoor units, mounting that keeps vibration off shared fences and bedroom walls, and clean lineset routing on heritage exteriors. For the many duplexes, suites and condos in Esquimalt and Vic West — including strata buildings — we bring the same strata approval package we use across Victoria (see the condo guide).
Older 60–100A services are common in wartime homes; our electricians upgrade panels in the same visit, rebated up to $5,000 on qualifying income-tested conversions.
